Icon Diversity and Inclusion Task and Finish Group: aims, objectives and reflections
A presentation delivered at the West Dean Student Conference 2021
In this presentation, the Task & Finish group talk through the group objectives, and discuss some of the recommended actions submitted to the Icon Board. They share considerations from two public round table discussions, and reflect on their theory of change which aims towards conservation becoming fully representative of our diverse society, objects and history. The presentation aims to celebrate positive examples, yet also be transparent and earnest with challenges and difficulties, including personal perspectives from some group members.
