Icon team at M+H show
In May Icon’s new Marketing and Membership Manager, Amy Neal, and Membership Officer, Michael Rodger represented Icon at the Museums + Heritage show at Kensington Olympia.
For more than 30 years the Museums + Heritage Show has been bringing the sector together. A free event and open to all it is often referred to as the big catch up for museums, galleries, heritage sites and cultural attractions worldwide, encouraging knowledge sharing and network building across a wide range of disciplines.
Over the two jam packed days, the Icon membership team took the opportunity to chat with our members, heritage professionals and sector suppliers. Sharing and highlighting the great work that Icon is doing for conservation, conservators and the protection of cultural heritage.
Michael Rodger, Icon Membership Officer says:
“It was really great to meet a wide range of people from across the sector and to catch up with some of our wonderful members face to face. It was a very positive experience to be part of for Icon”
Amy and Michael were also incredibly lucky to be invited to attend the Museums + Heritage Awards. Icon was a partner for the Restoration or Conservation Project of the year award. Find out who won here.
Amy Neal, Icon Marketing and Membership Manager says:
“It was a wonderful night and so lovely to celebrate the excellence of our sector. As Sara Wajid MBE Co-CEO of Birmingham Museums Trust highlighted in her welcome speech, we need to get used to peacocking more and making sure we are celebrating all the amazing work that is happening”.
The Icon team would like to thank Anna Preedy and her team for the opportunity to be involved and here’s to 2025!
