Dr Renata F Peters has worked in conservation projects in South and North America, Europe and Africa.

She is a Senior Lecturer at the UCL Institute of Archaeology, Coordinator for the UCL MA Principles of Conservation, Vice-chair of the Directory Board of the International Council of Museums - Committee for Conservation (ICOM-CC) and Conservation Lead of the Olduvai Geochronology Archaeology Project in Tanzania.

Dr Melina Smirniou is a Senior Lecturer at the School of History & Heritage, University of Lincoln, and Programme Leader of the MA in Conservation of Cultural Heritage.

She has co-directed and founded Conservators Without Borders, which she also served as a member of the Board of Trustees. She is Managing Editor of the Journal of Conservation and Museum Studies, and an Assistant Coordinator of the ICOM-CC Art Technological Source Research Working Group.

Jane Henderson is Professor of Conservation and the Secretary General of the International Institute for Conservation.

Jane serves on the editorial panel of the Journal of the Institute for Conservation, is a co-opted member on the trustee board of the Welsh Federation of Museum and Art Galleries and is a visiting Researcher of the Scientific Conservation Institute in Beijing.  Jane serves on the European standards body CEN TC 346 WG11 and on the BSI standard group B/560 concerned with the conservation of Tangible Cultural heritage.

Karen Thompson is a senior lecturer, senior teaching fellow, and programme convenor for the MPhil in Textile Conservation at the University of Glasgow. She has previously worked as a conservator both in the private and museum sectors both in the UK and internationally.

Dr Emily Williams directs the MA in Conservation of Museum and Archaeological Objects at Durham University.

She previously taught at the University of Mary Washington and The College of William and Mary.  She chaired the American Institute of Conservation's Education and Training Committee for 4 years and is currently the Coordinator of ICOM-CC's Wet Organic Archaeological Materials Working group.
