Icon has been working with the Construction Industry Training Body (CITB) to ensure that members of Icon are able to access CSCS cards. The type of card which is appropriate will vary depending on the experience of the individual and the type of membership they hold.
CSCS is fully managed by CITB and issues should first be directed towards them.
Trainee Card
Overview
Suitable for someone registered on an academic programme leading towards the 'Academically Qualified Person' card, or someone who is registered as a Pathway member. The card is valid for five years and can not be renewed.
Must have:
- Pass certificate for appropriate CITB Health & Safety test. CITB can confirm the appropriate test.
- Must be either:
1) Registered on a qualification which would lead to the 'Academically Qualified Person' card.
2) Pathway member of Icon

Experienced Technical, Supervisor or Manager
Overview
Suitable for someone who has at least 2 years of previous experience in the sector, but who is not accredited and doesn't hold a conservation qualification. To be eligible you must be registered as a Pathway member.

- Pass certificate for appropriate CITB Health & Safety test. CITB can confirm the appropriate test.
- Pathway Member of Icon.

Suitable for someone with Accredited Conservator Restorer (ACR) status. The card is valid for 5 years and can be renewed.

- Accredited Icon membership card.
