The Congress aisms to bridge the divide between built heritage and in-situ collections, with major topics including
- Wall paintings - from Germany to China and Sudan;
- Sustainability - from historic house climate control to sites in the desert; and
- Scotland - projects including the magnificent McEwan Hall, the preservation of the Mackintosh Building and live streamed tours of notable Edinburgh heritage buildings.
IIC has placed particular focus on making the Congress accessible this year. While standard tickets are £100, the Congress is free for IIC members with are a variety of options for non-members to apply for attendance grants.
Icon members can apply for an Anna Plowden Trust CPD grant or for a Tru Vue grant. There are also options to attend as a Digital Engagement volunteer.
